Knowledge vs Belief

Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"

What does this mean? How can people be destroyed for a lack of knowledge? Aren't our people being destroyed? Could it be for a lack of knowledge? What truth, or understanding, can we gain from this passage? What is knowledge and what lack of knowledge are we lacking?

What is knowledge? Knowledge is what you know. What you can prove in no amount of time. If you can not prove it, you do not know it. Thus you have no knowledge of the situation. You can only be in belief of it. What would be better to build your foundation on, what you believe, or what you know? If I told you, Kobe would beat Lebron in a game of one on one, would that be what I believe or what I know? It would be a belief. Why? Because I have no proof. I have never seen them play a game of one on one. I believe Kobe is a better ballplayer, so I think he would win in that situation. Would I wager all my marbles on that game? If I'm stupid I would. Maybe a couple dollars, but not it all. Now what if I told you that Kobe could beat my 4yr old nephew in a game of one on one, would that be a belief, or what I know? That would be what I know. Knowledge. No I haven't seen them play, but just by the knowledge, the science of the situation, I can gather an understanding. Kobe is an NBA allstar. My nephew is a 4yr old child that can barely tie his shoes. Would I put all my marbles on that game? You damn right I would.

Do you understand the difference between knowledge and belief, what you know, as opposse to what you believe? You'd put all your marbles on what you know correct? Not so much on what you believe. When you believe you can be wrong. Some people say that you have to believe in something, you can't know everything. That's not necessarily true. Personally, you can't know everything, but you CAN know it all. All meaning everything of importance to your cipher, your life. All the things that make up your cipher, thats in your life, it's best for you to gain knowledge to them. That you can do. You may say, "Well when you go to a restaurant, how do you KNOW, that your foods not poisoned, you have to be believe in that." No, I knowledge what I can of the situation. Things that I'm not able to knowledge of the situation, I don't concern myself over. I cancel the unknown with a known. I KNOW, what the risk are and I am willing to take them. When I sit down at a restaurant, I'm content on knowing that it could be, but highly unlikely, my last meal. So I will take that risk. Now if I was an evil dictator, I might not want to take that risk. If I was poisoned, I knew the risks, so I'm responsible for my own actions. That's part of being an adult. Knowing all things. In regards to knowing everything, as I said, personally I can not do. But if you know the science of life, my physical body did not start me, nor will it end me. I am my descendants as well as my ancestors. They are all me. If you were to ask me how the pyramids were built, I may not have that information personally, but I (in the form of my ancestors) did thousands of years ago. And I (in the form of my descendants) may know again. Ask me about law and I may direct you to my brother Ali or Sabir. I am my brother and my brother is me. Ask me about child birth and I may direct you to sista Divine or sista Kendra. Collectively we can know everything.

Then what is this knowledge that we're lacking that's destroying our people. It's the knowledge of God and God's law. How can you know God's law if you don't know God? People come up to me and ask me what is it that I believe in? I tell them nothing. I don't believe, I know. I ask them what do they believe in? They reply I believe in this or I believe in that. What they are saying is that they don't know. They have no knowledge of what they believe in. Then they try to switch it up and say "I know my God." Really? What do you know about your God? What you read in a book that was written a long time ago that has been repeatedly tampered with? That your religious leader says is the word of God? Gods word is infallible, but not so of a corrupt man. Do you know if that is the word of God? Prove it. If you can't prove it, then you do not know. I'm not saying it isn't the word of God. If it is prove it. If you can't, then it's extremely ignorant to discriminate against someone else, to say what they're speaking is wrong. Especially if they can prove it. And if you can't prove it, then how do you KNOW if it's right and exact. Because of how you feel. Emotions have a dangerous way of playing tricks on peoples judgements. It convinces battered women to stay in abusive relationships because he said he loved her. It convinces a brother to kill another over pride. Let's not let emotion be the deciding factor on what we know about God. This is the lack of knowledge that the passage is speaking about. God is our foundation, is he not? Gods law is right and exact correct? That will help our people, am I right?Let's knowledge God to know Gods law.

How can we knowledge God? How do you knowledge anyone that's not here in the physical. You study whatever they left behind. If you wanted to know the life of a famous now deceased painter, what might you study? You might study their paintings for one. You might study the enviroment, the time period that they existed in. You might study their descendants. What's left behind that God created? Everything in nature, physics, the biology, the psychology, the sciences. What existed at that time? Matter. What descendants are there of God? Us. If all there was was God, then what did we manifest from if there was only God? God!

To end this, our people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. What knowledge? The knowledge of God and Gods laws. To know Gods laws, we must study the sciences of life, mathematics, principles. Are you going to be a catalyst for our change, or a factor of our destruction? That depends, are you going to know God, or believe in what you want to believe.
Peace
